...“We were here at Tet, which is Lunar New Year, and the street in front of the hotel was closed to all vehicles because it had been decorated with trees, flower displays, chinese dragons, and every kind of Ox in flowers ,wood or metal. It was the heart of the celebration. Yet despite that, the interior of the hotel was busy but calm and the noise outside was mostly muted and unobtrusive.”

“Would recommend this hotel, was in a fantastic location. Only stayed there for 2 days. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was amazing. We also had a buffet dinner at the hotel which was excellent. The swimming pool is a lap pools not too big but enough for a dip”

“A very friendly hotel especially the bar staff who were interested in the english way of life. The cashier was very helpfull with converting currency.Nice to see 3 pin sockets in the bedroom. After travelling to thailand and cambodia in seven days this hotel was one of the best I have stayed in.”

“The Duxton was the first stop on our Vietnam organised tour and we were more than happy with their selection. We could not fault the service, our room was very adequate, clean and also quiet. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection catering for many tastes, always served by willing staff. We also spend a very pleasant couple of hours enjoying the Afternoon Tea while being entertained by the pianist. Cocktails before dinner were also very special, very reasonably priced and this time listening to a live quartet! I had a pedicure in the Spa which was very good also. We did not eat in the restaurant any evening but some of our group did and said it was also very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel, plenty to see within walking distance and good restaurants as well.”
