..."Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in March. We booked a de-luxe room, as we were aware that many hotel rooms in saigon don't have windows, and the higher rate rooms do. The room rate was very good. The bathroom was very large, with complimentary toiletries, and nice fluffly towels. The room had a safe, fridge, tea making facilities and air conditioning, plus fresh fruit. The room we had was facing the park, and had a very large window. Even though we were also facing the road, we were not bothered by any noise. The hotel is very central, and within walking distance of most city attractions. We didn't experience any crime, and we also took a few taxis and were not overcharged. The beakfast was adequate. The fare from the airport was $7, which we thought was reasonable, we got the drivers name and no. and the hotel rang him and booked him on the day we returned. We just used us dollars whilst in Saigon. We booked our trips at the Sinh Cafe round the corner from the hotel. Couldn't believe how cheap they were. We did 2 full day trips, and 1 half day, the total price for us both was £38 (english) and the transport used was nice. If in Saigon again this is the place we would stay."

“We got to the hotel a couple of days ago in the evening. We were taken up to the room and were shown how to work air-con etc..the service from the outside was really polite and friendly. The room was a little clinical looking but definitely had the best shower in any hotel we have stayed in so far in Vietnam. Lots of channels on the TV and free internet access in the room. The breakfast room was at the top of the hotel and has great views of the city. Unfortunately an incident occurred in the city...where a drive-by motorbike stole my necklace when passing (be really careful...by all accounts this place is very bad for drive by thefts). We returned to the hotel and they couldn't help enough. One of the hotel receptionists even came to the police station with us. This was a big improvement on the last hotel customer service wise.”

“My wife and I stayed four nights in this hotel. The Elios Hotel on Pham Ngu Lao St in HCM City is very clean and quiet although in the middle of Central District 1. The reception staff is responsible, competent, friendly, and speak excellent English. The lobby is modern with new lounge furniture which you can use without having to buy a drink. The breakfast served on the 12th floor which is the top floor is excellent & fresh; the room has a great view of the city. Although very suitable for leisure travel, I would be very happy to use it again for future business travel. The wireless internet service in the room is free and has good connectivity. The room phone service is efficient, and the taxi service is prompt. This is a well managed 3 star hotel.”
