...“Taking breakfast on the fifth floor overlooking the river and listening to the sounds of bustling Saigon has to be one of my fondest memories and the food was amazing. Our room had a great view, was very clean and was double glazed to minimize any noise. I don't believe the hotel website reflects the quality of this hotel so don't be put off by that.”

“It was my wife's birthday when we stayed at the Majestic and they produced a magnificent birthday cake for her. The rooftop bar was the best (and best value) of all the classic hotels in Saigon (forget calling it Ho Chi Minh city when you're there but make sure you call it that when you're in Hanoi). The room had an excellent blend of traditional looks and modern facilities. The free in-room WiFi was also excellent for a 5 star hotel which usually charge gross prices for this facility that should be free.”

“We went there for holiday during Chinese New Year. The hotel had organised a lot of activities. Gala dinner, Dragaon Dance Etc, Both me and my husband had a good time there. The room were spacious and cozy. The location was simply superb facing the Saigon River. The scenery is breathtaking at night. The room rates are towards the higher end USD220 per night but its worth every penny!!!”

“We spent our first night at The Majestic in the old wing just off the pool. The staff were great, and the rooms was lovely. We ate twice at the restaurant, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner left quite a bit to be desired. Breakfast was a very large spread that we both enjoyed. The hotel was approx. a 45 minute drive from the airport.”

“Nothing is too much trouble for the staff of the Majestic -- you even get your own personal contact person upon arrival. The whole place is about style, excellence and ambience. Stay here if you prefer class and colonial grace to the more impersonal 'executive' establishments. Faultless. Literally.”
