... “Authentic 5 star hotel. Stayed 3 times in last 5 years and every trip has been good. The only gripe I have with this hotel is the very boring breakfast. Added plus for this hotel is free very fast internet access.”

“A beautifully appointed hotel located approx 15 minute stroll outside of central HCMC and about 10 minues stroll from the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office. From walking into the hotel, with its wonderful lobby, to being escourted to our room we were very impressed with the elegance of the hotel. We booked a standard room and was not disappointed. Although not ultra modern it was typically French in style and quite chic. While we were staying at the hotel it was our anniversary and we arrived back one day to find the hotel and left us a wonderful chocolate cake to celebrate. The swimming pool on the top floor allowing you to look out over HCMC and was in the sun (when it was out) all day. We did not eat at the hotel as HCMC has so many excellent restaurants. If you do not mind a stroll into the centre of HCMC then this is a wonderful hotel to stay in.”

“Nice rooms-Wonderful Breakfast, etc. etc.etc. My husband and I loved this hotel. I was afraid that it would be somewhat off the beaten path, but walking was easy and the hotel provides a shuttle service to market and "Tax" Shopping center which is across the street from the Rex hotel (stop here for a drink on roof-top). Taxi to hotel from airport at the airport taxi desk is $13 US so no needs to request hotel transportation. We booked on Priceline for $112 US plus tax and including breakfast.”
