... “3 of us stayed here in November and each wanting a seperate bedroom! Hotel prices way too high so this place just hit the spot. Great location, good breakfast and great rates if you have a Citibank credit card although no one ever asked to see it!! Nice for jet lagged arrival can wonder at will and not disturb the others, watch TV in living room make a drink, raid the fridge etc. Home from home!”

“We have just got home (Adelaide, South Aust) today after staying at Somerset HCM for 8 days with our 12 yo son and 10 yo daughter.
We are frequent travellers, and generally stay at high quality hotels, this facility met all our expectations and more. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, which was massive, definitely room to spread out. The apartment was very clean, with modern decor, and comfy beds, and no adjoining walls to next apartment so it was quiet. The most noise heard from within the apartment was the whooping noise made by a monkey that resides near by, which was nice to hear anyway, not something you hear back home! The staff were amazing, very accommodating to anything we wanted. There is an onsite cafe that was fine, not a huge menu, but good quality food for a very reasonable price. Dinner for our family at this cafe cost around $20 Aust, cheaper than a meal at McDonalds at home. There is a good selection of both western and asian food, fast service, and always with a smile. The facilities are great, a 25m pool and spa, a tennis court a well equipped gym, the kids where happy to spend a few hours at the end of the day around the pool. Internet access at the site was reasonable, US$5 for 2 hours , US$20 for 24hrs, comparable to other places we have stayed at throughout Aust and Europe. There is an onsite mini supermarket with a good selection of all the essential emergency supplies, a little bit more expensive than buying them elsewhere, but this is to be expected of a resort shop. We have been very happy with our time at the resort and thank the staff for outstanding service. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone travelling with children.”

“This is a lovely apartment complex and the 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious and just what we needed at the end of a 3 week trip. It provided a lovely haven at the end of a busy tourist day.
Beds were so comfortable and the furnishings were of good quality. Pool was nice and staff very helpful and friendly.
But the breakfasts were a shambles. When you pay approx $500 AUD per night you would expect someone to be able to produce a hot breakfast in a reasonable period of time. All of the breakfasts were always cold - even the toast!. And they take forever and never quite get the order right. We stayed in much cheeaper accommodation where the service and breakfasts were much much better.
On our final morning we needed to check out by 7:15 to get to the airport and you would think that if breakfast began at 6:30 we would have plenty of time, assuming we had packed everything up before breakfast. Well, 7am and we still hadnt been served. It was laughable.
So, my suggestion is stay there if you need a bit of quiet respite and space. Make your own breakfasts (although they are included in the price so that is a bit of a rip-off) and you will feel a lot happier.
Yes, it is lovely but not sure that it has that 'wow' factor when you take it all into account, considering the price.
