..." This hotel has a great location close to the major streets and harbour. The street the hotel is located on is very quiet at night. The hotel is new so everything is very clean. The rooms are small but efficient and each has its own safe. Three computers are available for Internet access although when we were there it appeared that only two could get Internet access at the same time. The front desk staff was hit or miss. There was a definate language barrier and because the hotel was new things were disorganized. We were originally sent to a room that was not ready and when we went back down to the front desk it took quite a while for them to sort it out. It appeared that they did not know which rooms were ready and were unable to locate the cleaning staff. A couple of downsides - breakfast is included however the dining area is very, very small. You will end up sharing a table with strangers. Also, they offer soup with breakfast but it can be difficult to locate the person to make it for you. (Unless you try to make it yourself and then someone will suddenly appear waving their arms and shooing you away). The selection of other items is "okay" but they really need to configure the area in a more space efficient manner given the size of the room. Other downside is the lack of quality workmanship in the rooms. We were told the hotel is less than a year old however the bathroom tile grout was falling out (in both of our rooms) and there is no caulking around the bathroom. In one of our rooms there was a leak coming from the bathroom above. It had obviously been going on for some time based on the mold on the ceiling. In our second room I am positive our shower water was making its way into the walls. Anyway, not a huge concern now but in the future that hotel could be a real mess if they don't fix those issues. In summary, it was clean and in a good location but needs some rethinking in terms of staff training and facility setup."
